According to Gartner “The aspirations of many organizations to provide an Amazon-like experience, combined with the continued evolution of unified commerce operations, remains unchanged. Very often, delivery capabilities are not supported with the right technology solutions, resulting in inefficient processes and a less-than-optimal customer experience”.

“In light of current economic conditions and the extensive challenges supply chains face, along with the rising expectations for quicker deliveries, the growing need for customized delivery services, optimizing transportation costs, and achieving sustainability goals, the importance of efficient last-mile delivery has never been greater. FarEye is the last-mile technology partner for companies obsessed with delivery experience. We believe, the Gartner recognition affirms our vision to ensure every delivery in the world reaches its destination every time, on time, accurately, efficiently, and as sustainably as possible.”

Order To Door Lifecycle with FarEye

The report identifies three Last-Mile Delivery Technology Capabilities: Pre-purchase, Delivery orchestration, and Post-purchase. “While delivery orchestration is an important part of LMD solutions, customer experience capabilities are just as important, if not more so. Gartner has observed the popularity of software vendors specialized in areas like post purchase experience increasing as organizations demand more capabilities to reduce where is my order (WISMO) calls, provide visibility and eventually even drive more revenue through personalized marketing campaigns.”

FarEye differentiates from other players in the market by integrating customer experience capabilities with delivery orchestration, covering all three components, end to end, and providing a comprehensive order-to-door solution. Read more here
