Introducing Smart Audit, an AI-powered, next-generation delivery verification solution engineered to transform how proof-of-delivery (POD) audits are conducted in last-mile logistics. Smart Audit automates POD validation, ensuring faster and all-encompassing audits, reduced disputes, and reliable compliance. In high-value or compliance-sensitive deliveries, even minor verification gaps can lead to costly disputes, delayed settlements, and reputational risk. This solution eliminates these challenges through four integrated verification layers that work seamlessly to ensure every delivery is validated with precision and speed.

• Location Matching: confirms the exact delivery location through GPS coordinates and civic address data.
• OTP Verification: ensures the parcel is handed to the intended recipient.
• OCR-Based Proof Review: leverages machine learning to extract and match delivery details from images, generating a confidence score and highlighting key information for faster audit review.
• Shipment Presence Detection: The system now automatically detects whether the delivered shipment is present in the POD image, helping validate that deliveries are completed as expected and preventing disputes.

Improved on-time deliveries with an automated system to manage driver accountability and trip efficiency when an order attempt (pickup or delivery) is not initiated within a configured Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) window. The system operates autonomously, requiring no dispatcher intervention, and focuses on maintaining strict adherence to schedules by promptly reallocating post time window unattempted orders and managing driver assignments.

• Automated Trip Unassignment: Automatically unassigns all active orders in a trip if a driver misses the ETA window for any order.
• Configurable Auto-Blacklisting: Drivers are automatically blacklisted for a configurable duration upon an ETA breach, with the ETA buffer also configurable.
• Reliable Edge Case Handling: Manages scenarios like partial attempts, breaks, late trip starts, early arrivals, and dynamic ETA re-evaluation by dispatchers, including a grace period for technical delays.

To make operations clearer and reports more accurate, there are two key improvements that enhance driver management and provide greater visibility into delivery details:

• Overtime Tracking: The Roster report now features a dedicated column displaying the actual time worked during overtime, allowing for precise extra payments and simplifying payroll.
• Improved Big & Bulky Delivery Visibility: Address details for large deliveries are now clearly displayed in the system and fully available in downloaded reports, providing better insight into delivery locations and helping dispatchers manage shipments more efficiently.

Introducing the Video Capture field attribute that allows field executives to capture up to 30 seconds of video, providing a clearer and more comprehensive record than multiple photos. This is especially valuable for big and bulky deliveries, such as furniture, where a single video can show the item’s condition and placement in one go, saving time and improving proof-of-delivery quality. Additionally, the Camera Field Attribute has been upgraded — slider zoom is now replaced with intuitive pinch-to-zoom, and the flash has been improved to activate automatically while capturing images, ensuring better clarity in all lighting conditions.

Smart Suggestion has been introduced on the pre-routing screen. This new suggestion smartly identifies all High and Medium priority shipments and recommends a planning strategy focused exclusively on these. It boosts operational efficiency by quickly identifying and grouping crucial deliveries, improving planning speed and accuracy.

Label printing can now be enforced as a mandatory step to ensure consistency and prevent jobs from being completed without labels. When enabled, users must print the label before finalizing a task. This is configured by enabling Show Finish View under Remarks Configuration, which replaces the Finish button on the form layout with a Print and Finish button. In addition to printing, it is also mandatory for users to affix the label to the correct package and scan it before completing the job.

To significantly enhance the accuracy and efficiency of your scanning processes, the Pickup Scanner field attribute has been upgraded with dynamic validation capabilities. This allows users to configure highly adaptable validation rules on the Pickup scanner, specifically for managing overage parcels. The system's validation logic can now intelligently incorporate real-time job and shipment attributes, ensuring immediate and relevant checks at the point of scan. This leads to improved data validation and more efficient handling of all scanned items.
